The World’s Highest-Paid DJs ranging from June 2016 to June 2017.

The well-known Forbes magazine has published a few days ago the list of artists who have made the most money in the last year. A period ranging from June 2016 to June 2017.

Again, dizzying figures that are handled making it clear that the electronic dance music market has a lot of appeal. If last year the total amount of the top 10 on the list was down from that of 2015, this year has seen a slight rebound to the upside. Calvin Harris is still alive and holts yet again the first position with a humble 48 million and a half dollars. Tiesto, Skrillex, Steve Aoki, Diplo, David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Zedd appear (almost) always. To highlight the irruptions of The Chainsmokers and Marshmello, artists that last year have surpassed production and have left hits that have catapulted them in every way. Regarding 2016 we have to talk about the outputs of Kaskade and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

Forbes since 2012 is compiling the DJs who make the most money and we wanted to look back to see what and how much was cooked by then. At that time Tiesto occupied the first position with “only” 22 million dollars. Skrillex, Aoki or Guetta still appeared and there were also artists like Afrojack, Avicii, deadmau5 or Swedish House Mafia.

This is the list ranging from June 2016 to June 2017.

1. Calvin Harris ($ 48,500,000)
2. Tiesto ($ 39,000,000)
3. The Chainsmokers ($ 38,000,000)
4. Skrillex ($ 30,000,000)
5. Steve Aoki ($ 29,500,000)
6. Diplo ($ 28,500,000)
7. David Guetta ($ 25,000,000)
8. Marshmello $ 21.000.000)
9. Martin Garrix ($ 19.500.000)
10. Zedd ($ 19.000.000)
