Born in Italy, resident in Copenhagen, Andrea Martini is DJ – producer and owner of highly acclaimed label Emotive Sounds.

Everything revolves around emotions for Andrea. Learning to appreciate the full spectrum of one’s feelings is the key to enjoying life to the fullest. It is no wonder then that he decided to name his label “Emotive Sounds” when it was created in 2005 after Andrea had just moved from his native Italy to Copenhagen. Over the 10 years since its establishment, the label has grown into one of the leading brands in the scene with releases from more than 100 artists, significant worldwide support, and a string of chart-breaking releases.

During these exciting times, Andrea has been refining his sound as a producer, successfully combining the melodic, organic elements of his Latin culture with the minimalistic and functional approach of Scandinavian aesthetics. His releases and remixes are gracing some of the hottest labels around: Hotfingers, Deeperfect, 303 lovers, and Natura Viva is just a small sampling. These tracks have been riding the Beatport charts with some staying power, garnering support by industry heavyweights such as UMEK, Stefano Noferini, Chus & Ceballos, Roger Sanchez, and many more. 

With the “Feeling Emotive” brand, Andrea has been pounding the FM and digital airwaves with his monthly radio show in addition to the European nightlife with his acclaimed label parties. These label parties have featured Andrea alongside his fellow friends and colleagues (Stefano Noferini, Dave Seaman, Zoo Brazil have been the most-recent) and has created some significant noise amongst the movers & shakers in the Scandinavian nightlife industry. With an innate capacity to connect with the crowd and a non-compromising attitude for a proper live set, Andrea is on a mission in creating club music as an art form.
