Who is the most shining city in Austria? The answer is that simple. No doubt, it is Vienna. It is the capital and the largest city in Austria with a population of around 1.68 million. It is also the cultural and economic centre of the country. In the year of 2005, Vienna was also ranked the first in terms of the quality of life among the other 126 cities in the world.

Kunsthistorisches Museum, in English is Museum of Fine Arts, is one of the world’s great art museums. It is also considered as the mother of all museums in Austria. The museum per se is built in a palace. It is beloved place for art fans who would like to indulge themselves here all days. It preserves a world-class exhibit of the Habsburgs’ art collection, including Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio, Bosch, and Brueghel. Collections about ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman art can also be found here.

The next place you should go is Schloss Schönbrunn, which is designated as the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1996. It is a palace in fact which include Habsburg summer palace.
